Glossotechnia is a card game in which the players collaboratively create a new language, and attempt to translate certain challenge sentences into this game-language, or compose sentences in the game-language meeting certain criteria.
This document describes the simplified version of Glossotechnia, for people who are interested in languages but don't know much about linguistics. There is also an advanced version which tends to create more realistic and complex languages but relies on a certain amount of linguistics knowledge on the part of the players.
